Harbourwood Child Care combines the best of Montessori with learn through play at a fraction of the cost of regular Montessori schools. We are a home daycare that offers a chance for children to enjoy a variety of afternoon enrichment activities in a safe, nurturing setting. We work hard to foster each child's natural curiosity and inclination to learn, providing the environment for discovering his or her own potential within. We encourage a child's love of music through a piano teacher as an integral part of our program. We also offer yoga to the children, it is truly an amazing experience.
ACTIVITIES
Learning by doing is our way of life—whether it’s toddlers digging in our organic gardens, or catching frogs and learning about the seasons. This learning transfers to the inside as we make crafts, read and shape our day. What do I love most about being here every day? Witnessing the joy in simple discoveries, seeing children of all ages engaged in self-directed learning, knowing with confidence that no two lessons or two days will ever be the same.

ABOUT US
Harbourwood Child Care is a home-based child care center which incorporates learn through play and Montessori principles in its daily activities. Daily exercise including yoga is an essential part of our program.
We are conveniently located near Lake Simcoe between Barrie and Orillia for commuting parents.
